Dear Roanoke Catholic School Community,
It is with great pleasure and excitement that I announce the appointment of Mrs. Megan Potter as the new Head of School for Roanoke Catholic School starting May 6, 2024. Following an extensive nationwide search, Mrs. Potter emerged as the ideal candidate to lead the school into the future.
I would like to express my sincere gratitude to the dedicated members of the search committee for their diligent efforts in selecting the best candidate for Roanoke Catholic School. Their commitment to finding a leader who exemplifies the school’s values and mission has been invaluable.
Mrs. Potter’s deep dedication to education is evident in her more than 20 years of service, during which she has brought joy and fulfillment to the community. In her own words, “Working at Roanoke Catholic School has been the highlight of my more than 20-year career. The past seven years brought me so much joy and fulfillment.”
As Mrs. Potter officially transitions into her new role, she brings with her a vision for the future that is filled with promise and excitement. She remarked, “I am excited for the opportunity to work with the teachers, staff, students, and families in this new capacity. The future’s so bright here ‘on the hill’ with God as our guide.”
Under Mrs. Potter’s leadership, alongside the fantastic teachers and staff, Roanoke Catholic School will continue to provide the Roanoke Valley with the quality Catholic education that the community has come to expect, for another 135 years. Her dedication to the mission ensures that the school will thrive and flourish for generations to come.
