Roanoke Catholic School is excited to announce that senior Carson Baker has officially signed his letter of intent to play football at Bridgewater College!
Carson has been a dedicated member of the RCS varsity football team since eighth grade, serving as a starter and anchor on both the offensive and defensive lines throughout his high school career. As the team’s starting left tackle and defensive tackle each year, he was consistently tasked with blocking the opposing team’s top defenders—a challenge he met with strength, skill, and unwavering consistency.
In recognition of his outstanding performance, Carson was named Lineman of the Year for the 2023 season. As a senior captain, he helped lead the team to its first six-win season since 2019 and was honored with the Creedy Moyer Bob Price Award, a testament to his leadership, work ethic, and impact on the program.

Carson’s athletic talents extend beyond the football field. He was also a three-year starter on the Celtic baseball team, playing both first base and pitcher. Additionally, he was one of just four players selected to receive the Gridiron Elite Award at the Washington Commanders Football Camp—an honor that highlights his exceptional ability.
Beyond athletics, Carson has shown a strong commitment to helping others, whether on the field or within the community. While he will be greatly missed, Carson leaves behind a legacy of hard work, determination, and leadership. We are confident he will bring the same passion and dedication to Bridgewater College and wish him all the best as he begins this exciting new chapter.
