Learning Specialist

Roanoke Catholic School is seeking a full time Learning Specialist, who will collaborate with teachers, administrators, specialists, and families to identify students who learn at significantly different levels compared to their age group and to create and help implement plans tailored to those students’ specific learning profile. Activities Bus Driver (CDL Required)

Roanoke Catholic School is seeking a qualified Activities Bus Driver with a valid Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) to transport individuals to various recreational activities, events, and outings. The Activities Bus Driver will play a crucial role in ensuring the safety, comfort, and enjoyment of our students on trips. **Key Responsibilities:**
1. Safely operate the activities bus in compliance with all traffic laws, regulations, and company policies.
2. Transport students to and from designated locations, ensuring timely arrival and departure.
3. Maintain a clean and organized bus interior, including regular cleaning and sanitizing of high-touch surfaces.
4. Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections to ensure the bus is in proper working condition.
5. Communicate effectively with the Athletic Director and Coaches to provide information regarding schedules, routes, and safety procedures.
6. Adhere to all safety protocols and emergency procedures, including responding calmly and efficiently in the event of an emergency.

**Qualifications:**
– Valid Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) with passenger endorsement (P) and air brake endorsement (A).
– Clean driving record with no history of major violations or accidents.
– Previous experience as a bus driver or similar role preferred.
– Excellent driving skills, with a focus on safety and passenger comfort.
– Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
– Ability to interact effectively with individuals of diverse backgrounds and abilities.
– Knowledge of basic vehicle maintenance and inspection procedures.
– Flexibility to work a variable schedule, including weekends and evenings as needed.
