Celebrating Christmas in the Community with Roanoke Catholic!
On December 12th we had a festive evening starting with “A Walk Through the Valley” at Our Lady of the Valley where students sang Christmas carols to the residents. The celebration continued with the help of our amazing HSA parents and their annual “Night in Bethlehem” event. Families gathered to enjoy hot chocolate while watching the Lower School Nativity play. The night concluded with pizza and a screening of “A Charlie Brown Christmas”. It was such a fun evening!
This year Roanoke Catholic reminded everyone to Keep Christ in Christmas during the Dickens of Christmas Parade. Our lower school drama students brought the story of Christmas to life with our living nativity float. They had a wonderful time wishing everyone a Merry Christmas along the way!
A heartfelt thank-you to the Knights of Columbus Council #562 for sponsoring our float and to Roger Vest for generously providing the trailer and driving us through the parade.
Merry Christmas from all of us at Roanoke Catholic!
